Austin Skin+™ Policies

1.Consults are Required
Education is key to provide you with the most beneficial information to aid in treating your skin. Therefore, an initial consult is vital and required by all new clients to discuss all expectations, benefits, risks, limitations and costs up front. At this time, we will individualize a treatment plan based on your personal skin needs. For existing clients, a brief consult will occur prior to any treatment to discuss anything that may have changed. Consider this the beginning to your journey to healthy, clear skin. We are excited you have chosen us to educate and help guide you along the way.

2.Use of Health Information
To customize your experience and to successfully treat your skin, we must collect health information from you. This will allow us to better care for your individual needs, especially if there are underlying health concerns or specific allergies that we need to factor in when discussing skin treatments and products. Please bring any information with you, for example, medical history, current prescriptions, allergy list, etc. to help in determining the best step moving forward with your skin care. It is your responsibility to provide us with the latest health information prior to each appointment.

3.Arrival & Late Arrival
Please arrive on time, which is no later than your scheduled appointment time, chosen by you and designated by Austin Skin Plus. We are dedicated to excellent customer service and client care and want to make sure that every client gets the most out of every visit and an on time arrival is the only way to ensure this happens. Late arrival would only negatively affect the level of care you may receive and can interfere with another clients treatment time. After you are 5 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and applicable charges will apply.

4.Cancellation Policy
All new client appointments, or existing clients MUST provide a valid credit card at the time of booking online, or with Austin Skin Plus’s receptionist directly. It will not initially be charged when scheduling and will not be kept on file in the office for the purchase of products or treatments. However, if cancellation policy is violated, this card will be charged the applicable fees. If choosing to pay via credit card for treatment or products in office, we do require the card to be present for security reasons.

We give courtesy emails, calls and text reminders because we know that life gets hectic. However, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment time and date to avoid being late and/or missing an appointment, which will result in you being charged the FULL fees for services that would have been rendered. It is also your responsibility to make sure we have all the correct contact information to ensure you are getting proper notifications.

You will NOT be charged when you give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. You WILL be charged applicable fees when you fail to give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule, cancel or no show. We need to use these slots efficiently and allow clients that want to get in, the opportunity. If you do not give us proper notice, we are unable to fill these slots resulting in lost business and the inability to provide services to another client who may need it.

5.Children
Please make alternate arrangements for your children during appointment time. Our office is not equipped to supervise children and due to potentially hazardous products and equipment, we ask that you do not bring them to your appointment. Austin Skin Plus will not be held accountable for unsupervised children. Your undivided attention will be appreciated at each appointment to ensure you understand any instruction given by your Esthetician. We are grateful for your cooperation.

6.Method of Payment & Pricing
We accept most major credit cards, cash, and debit. If paying with credit card at the time of purchase, card must be present. No exceptions. Prices are subject to change and taxes. All pricing for products and services are subject to change at any time.

7.Gratuities
Traditionally the Spa Industry gratuities ranges from 10-20% of services rendered, however, gratuity is not included with your service and is completely at your discretion. We do appreciate any tip given.

8.Parking
There are designated parking spots located in front of our Skin Care Clinic. The address is 2105 Justin Lane, Unit 101, Austin, TX 78757.

9.Refund/Return Policy
Products- We will exchange product only if it is within 7 days and unopened, unused. If you are unhappy with a specific product, please let us know and we will discuss any alternatives and address any concerns you might have.
Services- We will not give refunds on any treatment, but will discuss other options with you if you are unhappy with services provided.

10.Supplements
Please be advised that we are not medical professionals. Any supplement information presented by Austin Skin Plus is for educational purposes only and is not meant to substitute for any advice of a Medical Physician or qualified Health Care Provider. Austin Skin Plus does not make any medical claims regarding the use of any supplement suggested. Always seek advice from your medical physician regarding any questions you may have about a medical condition or treatment before starting any regime at Austin Skin Plus.

11.Disclaimer
MOST IMPORTANTLY, If we are unable to improve the condition of your skin due to factors beyond our control, but within yours, we reserve the right to decline treatments. You must comply with all instructions given by your esthetician, including home care, lifestyle issues, etc.
